Summer on the central Coast

Summer 2021 is off to a beautiful start with the sunny weather and finally, California opening up! How lucky are we to be living in one of the most breathtaking areas of California? We have the beaches and mountains nearby, all within driving distance. Here are a few favorite places Dr. Ng and her husband have visited so far this summer. We recommend checking out them out yourself!

Point Sal

A scenic trail that leads to a large body of water. Luscious greens, crisp blue waters, what more can you ask for! The trail is moderately strenuous with elevation going up to approximately 1200 feet from the beach. Get your hiking shoes on because it’s a worthwhile hike!

Pismo Beach - Ventana Grill

Truly one of the best oceanfront restaurant on the coast. Take in the tranquil breeze of the ocean and delicious food. Cherry on the top? They serve complimentary freshly made corn and flour tortillas with salsa! YUM!

Figueroa Mountain

You’ll definitely feel like you’re one with nature here. Surrounded by open space, grand mountains, and breathtaking views, you cannot go wrong with a nice leisure drive up to Figueroa Mountain.

Los Olivos

We love supporting small businesses and this place is filled with them! There’s something for everyone in this small town - artisanal restaurants, delicious wineries, and cute boutiques. Los Olivos is a picture perfect country town that we cannot get enough of!
